About the Art

The Celestial series was born out of the artist’s desire to capture the awe-inspiring experience of seeing the aurora borealis in her own backyard in the spring of 2024. The paintings were inspired by the work of BC photographer Tracy Rondeau. To witness such colour and light in the midst of darkness is a reminder that there is always hope and beauty even in the difficulties of the world and the nights of our souls.
