I have worked with Olive on a few commissioned pieces. From the initial seed of an idea to the final touches, I felt a part of the process. Olive always asked for my feedback, but also offered her honest advice from an experienced eye. She sent me pictures and videos of the progress (the time lapse one was particularly fun to watch).

I think the best part about working with Olive is the connections she makes between the art, the stories behind each painting and the client. I always felt that she cared and listened so carefully. The little touches upon delivery, including hanging hooks and a handwritten note, were so appreciated. The results are treasured paintings that mean so much to me and my family.

I commissioned a series of tiny paintings and an 8x10 painting from Olive Chan. I fell in love with her artwork when her Tiny Expanses Collection was brought to my attention by a friend of mine. I knew that Olive would be the perfect person to paint some of the photos I took in Colorado. Olive was extremely easy to work with. She responded to my questions in a timely fashion and was very organized. I appreciated that she listened to what I was looking for and she provided options and suggestions when I asked. Olive included me in the process. She was very upfront about timelines and what to expect.

Something I really loved was that she included extras like showing sneak peeks and time-lapses of the paintings being done. She was very thoughtful and intentional in naming my pieces. It was evident Olive put a great deal of time and care in all steps of the process from working out the details in the beginning, to creating paintings themselves and in the delivery.

Each painting was wrapped separately and signed and arrived with certificates. The art I received was stunningly beautiful and I couldn't be happier! Would highly recommend and will consider Olive when thinking about future works of art for my home!
