I am a Chinese-Canadian landscape artist who creates meaningful acrylic paintings featuring skies and light. My life calling includes being a conduit of beauty, an advocate for rest, and a practitioner of grace. Using gentle brushstrokes to capture the mood and atmosphere of a scene, my work blends traces of Impressionism with Contemporary Realism. My deep hope is that my art can offer moments for people to pause and connect with the greater beauty in the world; to provide a place of solace in the midst of life’s challenges.

Having grown up in the Toronto area, my fine arts training was mostly through the Arts York program at Unionville High School. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Set Design from York University and have been painting for over 25 years. I officially launched my art career at the beginning of 2020 and have been primarily focusing on painting skies. It's most life-giving to me when I can paint pieces with stories or meaning behind them, which is why I enjoy commissions.

I currently live in Port Coquitlam, BC with my husband, Tim, and our two daughters. These days, I paint in a corner of our living room but someday I hope to have a more permanent set-up!

I adore sunsets and my dream home would have floor-to-ceiling windows where I can endlessly watch the sky dance above the ocean.
